With over 400 acres, we offer permanent camping, cabins, swimming, go karts, waterslides, carousel, arcade, mini golf, and more!

Long's Retreat Rules

Our Attractions are open Memorial-Day through Labor Day.

ATVs are not permitted.
-
Golf Carts must display a purchased pass & must be operated by a licensed driver.

All visitors must obtain a pass from the office.

Gates close and quiet hours begin at 11:00 PM.

Please no unnecessary driving within the campgrounds.

Children under 12 years old must be supervised in the Shower Rooms and on the Beach.

Burn fires in designated areas only.

Positively no cutting of trees -- dead or alive!

Pets must be kept on a leash; they are not permitted on the Beach swimming area or to be left unattended.

Alcoholic beverages are allowed at campsites only - not in public areas.

Swimming permitted only at the Beach area and only during open hours.

All rubberized watercraft or inflatable mattresses, etc. are to be used in Beach swimming area only.

Please, no firearms or fireworks allowed!

Check-out time when renting a cabin or camper is 11:00 a.m.

Garbage pick-up service is for our cabins and rental units ONLY. Please leave closed bags beside road.

Permanent Campers are responsible for taking their own bagged trash to the dumpster locations.

Scooters/motorized skateboards/segways/hover boards/etc., are not permitted in the campground.

Paddle Boards are not permitted on our lake.

Kayaks are only permitted for Permanent Campers and must follow all rules.

Please keep campsite/cabin areas neat and clean!

No refunds due to weather.

Can I bring my camper for the weekend?No. In 2020, we transitioned all of our campsites to permanent (April-November) sites. You are welcome to reserve one of our cabins or rental trailers for the weekend. We are also open to the Public for daily visits to our Attractions!

How would I go about reserving a cabin?To make a reservation you can call us at (937) 588-3725 and pay a deposit covering the first night of your stay. There is a two night minimum stay, except on holiday weekends which require a three night minimum.

Am I allowed to bring kayaks?Kayaks are only permitted to be used by our permanent campers.

Do you have a pool?We do not have a pool. Our Beach swimming area is in our lake. We have a sandy, sloped beach with diving boards, a tube slide, and a splash pad. As required by the state of Ohio, water quality is tested weekly by an independent laboratory.

What's the height requirement for the Go Karts?Drivers must be at least 54" to drive.

How can I reserve a Shelter House?To make a reservation you can call us at (937) 588-3725 and pay a deposit to reserve a shelter house.

Do you allow fireworks?Fireworks are strictly prohibited.

Can we bring our own firewood?State law prohibits the transport of firewood.

Do you allow golf carts?Golf Carts must be registered with your permanent campsite, and cost $50/season. They must be operated by a licensed driver. We do not allow ATVs to be unloaded and used in the park. If you are staying in a cabin, you can purchase a golf cart pass for your own golf cart for $10/day. Note--STRICTLY GOLF CARTS ONLY!

Where is the closest Wal-Mart?The closest Wal-Mart is located in either Hillsboro or Waverly; each is approximately 25 minutes away. Please see our Campground Map for other great places to shop locally!

Are there grills and picnic tables at the Cabins?Each Cabin site has a fire ring, small charcoal grill and a picnic table. We also have charcoal grills in our picnic areas.

Are your campsites 30 or 50 amp service?We have both 30 and 50 amp service. The majority of our campsites have 50 amp.

Do you have wireless internet?No, we do not. Enjoy the break from all your devices!

Which cellular providers have service there?AT&T seems to have the best service, although it is typically "spotty" and unreliable.

Can I bring my own food and drinks?Alcohol, cans, and glass are not permitted in the Beach. Alcohol is ONLY allowed at campsites.

Do you have a restaurant?We have 2 snack bars onsite, our Beach and Oasis that serve delicious pizza, hamburgers, sandwiches and more!
